Home Early Years D.A.R.E. In Memory Politics

For the past 14 years I have been involved with a drug prevention program called D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education).  I can't begin to tell you how much that has changed my life and the lives of people around me.  It all began in Feb. 1992 when I enlisted in a class called DOT (D.A.R.E. Officer Training).  The training was held at Riverwood Conference Center in rural Monticello, MN.  The Conference Center is a secluded resort that is prefect for learning.  I didn't know what to expect only that after the two week class I would be changed forever!
